Remote Reading

"...Nintendo's diehard faithful possess a willingness to be swayed. They want to be swept away from the competition's notions of gaming's next plateau, building facades of indifference whenever a tantalizing game comes along that doesn't bear the Nintendo brand. They shoot catapulted boulders of flame at opposing
gamers when an opinion isn't shared.
They will behead you if you don't score Mario Party 9 perfect 10s.

Ok, that first one was a tiny bit exaggerated, but the rest are all proven facts."

I-man Lost his Bandages

Tony aka Mugwump aka Dracula aka Invisibleman, i need you. If you ever stop by here again, leave me your email. Contrary to reports, i'm not dead. I need to contact you. Serious!

Find some new bandages so someone can see you, or wear a trench coat, or some glasses damn you. Stop watching me when i shower.

Well, um, for the rest of you, go about your business of not reading this blog, as usual.

Assume the position.

Comment of the Year

"I really love my gamecube, though I probably won't find myself touching it again until that [Super] Paper Mario game. I will say this though; If you're impatient like me, and you don't already own one, I would definately suggest the buying of a used PS2 to hold you over until the Wii. It's nearing the end of it's days, most of the good games for it are already out, and you can make one hell of a killing with fifty dollars at your game store of choice. I know I walked out of Game Crazy with Katamari Damacy, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory, Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, Final Fantasy X, and Castlevania: Lament of Innocence for just shy of fifty bucks, and the only title among those that I would consider to be anything less than classic would be Final Fantasy. As much as it pains me to admit this, there are only two Gamecube titles that I can think of that I've enjoyed more than Ratchet & Clank, those being Super Smash Bros. and Wind Waker. I'm still primarily a Nintendo fan, but I've enjoyed gaming a lot more since I've learned to put all this pointless fanboy shit behind me that to date has done nothing more than deprive me of some of the most entertaining game experiences since the 16-bit era. Disagree with his game choices-- along with his opinion of them (Maximo better than FFX?!)-- but goddamn did he nail that last part. Props to you, Anon.
