Comment of the Year

"I really love my gamecube, though I probably won't find myself touching it again until that [Super] Paper Mario game. I will say this though; If you're impatient like me, and you don't already own one, I would definately suggest the buying of a used PS2 to hold you over until the Wii. It's nearing the end of it's days, most of the good games for it are already out, and you can make one hell of a killing with fifty dollars at your game store of choice. I know I walked out of Game Crazy with Katamari Damacy, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory, Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, Final Fantasy X, and Castlevania: Lament of Innocence for just shy of fifty bucks, and the only title among those that I would consider to be anything less than classic would be Final Fantasy. As much as it pains me to admit this, there are only two Gamecube titles that I can think of that I've enjoyed more than Ratchet & Clank, those being Super Smash Bros. and Wind Waker. I'm still primarily a Nintendo fan, but I've enjoyed gaming a lot more since I've learned to put all this pointless fanboy shit behind me that to date has done nothing more than deprive me of some of the most entertaining game experiences since the 16-bit era. Disagree with his game choices-- along with his opinion of them (Maximo better than FFX?!)-- but goddamn did he nail that last part. Props to you, Anon.

Hey, I've always said my two most favorite games of all time have been Halo (Xbox) and Rayman 2 (DreamCast)... I currently feel Nintendo has had the best games overall, and the best strategy, but if the next kick-ass game comes out from MS or Sony, you can be sure I'll get it!

And God of War and Shadow of the Colossus are looking mighty yummy right now...
